We are a small animal, general practice located in Cincinnati, Ohio. We may be small, but we are mighty!

Goals of Experience:
- Expose students to client relations, practice management, and problem-solving.
- Facilitate the student’s transition from the academic environment to the hands on world of clinical veterinary practice.
- Allow the student to experience how veterinarians obtain the confidence and goodwill of clients.
- Give the student the opportunity to identify the challenges associated with Veterinary practice and to judge how they would respond in such situations
- Enable the student to recognize the benefits of successful practice management.
- Allow the student to track and access their clinical skills development, including medical data recording and Scientific writing skills
Responsibilities Expected of Participating Students:
- Students will assist veterinarians and veterinary staff with monitoring cases, participating in daily rounds, developing treatment options, and diagnostic and surgical procedures as required.
- Help to maintain patient records.
Schedule:
- Students will be teamed up with one of our Veterinarians and will be required to work a similar 32-36 hour a week schedule.
- Students will be scheduled specific times to be assisting in surgery, diagnostics, and/or in the exam room.
Dress:
- Dress appropriately. Scrubs preferred. Business casual accepted.
- Name tag and dosimeter badge requested, but can be provided.
Housing & Location:
- Centrally located in Cincinnati, Ohio, located in the Kenwood area.
- We do provide a housing stipend, and will help reserve housing if requested.
- We will also assist with transportation, determined on a case by case basis.
